First and foremost I want to say "Thank You" to our American Solders. I have a great respect for our men and women serving our country and the sacrifices that they and their families make every day. With that in mind, I'm very thankful I was raised in a small mountain town and had the opportunity to experience the joy of country living.
Country living provides many forms of entertainment, like inviting the neighbor boys over to ride and watch them get bucked off because us girls put bucking straps on their pony. I remember leaving the house in the morning (no cell phones or fast food) we would jump on the ponies and be gone all day. Years of being around and working with horses has taught me trust and compassion. Getting on a horse and riding into the mountains or going to a branding and giving a neighbor a hand. It's a great life!
Growing up in a real estate family, I learned a lot from my dad who has sold thousands of acres of land. In the last several years I have applied my experience in helping others acquire their dream ranches and land. Many of these people have become close friends.
I enjoy every day and the beauty that life in a small town gives me, things like fishing, hunting, camping and the people. just enjoying the lifestyle. Another love I have is food so in my spare time I cook at a local Hunting Club. This provides me with the best of both worlds. I get to enjoy and share one of my passions in an environment that is good for the soul. There is nothing like the camaraderie found at a hunting club!
Of course two of my best accomplishments are my children Stephan, 18, he is off to UC Davis on a wrestling scholarship; and my daughter Sam, 17, who is in her last year of high school, soon to be off to college, hopefully on a scholarship!

Welcome to California Ranch and Land!
Having the good fortune to have been raised in the small town of Mt. Shasta in California's beautiful Cascade Mountains, many of my experiences have been drawn from enjoying the many outdoor activities this beautiful area has to offer.
While growing up, much of my time was involved in going hunting with my dad, fishing in many of the rivers and creeks, snow skiing on Mt. Shasta, water skiing on Shasta Lake and just exploring all the great places in the north state.
College and the military took me away from the area for a few years. While in the Air Force, I served as a combat pilot and received my Masters Degree from the University of Northern Colorado. During my early pilot training days in Texas, I was fortunate to have met my wife while she was attending Texas Tech University. After my military obligation ended, we spent a few years in the beautiful mountains of northern New Mexico starting a family.
Longing to return to California, we packed up our four small kids and moved back to Shasta County in 1983. We decided that we wanted to raise our kids in this area so they could enjoy many of the same experiences I had the pleasure of knowing while growing up.
During some of my days off, you will find me working as a Ski Patroller on Mt. Shasta; and during the summers, traveling with a national rescue team for professional drag boats.
Being a real estate broker and specializing in ranches, land, resorts and premier properties has provided me an opportunity to share all that this area has to offer with new people I continually meet. Having grown up exploring and experiencing this area, I have become very familiar with not only the history, but all the best places to live, to recreate and to enjoy!
Those of us who live here are very fortunate to be in one the greatest areas in the United States.

Hi, I have a great love and respect for country people and property, having lived a wonderful lifestyle on a small island in Washington State for 18 years, and in rural setting in Montana and another rural setting on the west coast of Vancouver Island Canada has helped in developing my views.
I was a building contractor and a small town minister for many years where I worked closely with many ranchers and farmers, I loved living that lifestyle. Being a country minister was a joy, working on the farms and ranches side by side with the owners has helped me to develop strong communication skills and a understanding of the needs & concerns of a rural community. After leaving the full time ministry it was a natural for me to turn to selling the type of properties that I love. It has been a great pleasure helping others to live the lifestyle that I have enjoyed for so many years.
My greatest challenge and accomplishment was the challenge of being a single father raising four kids, two boys and two girls and I have the privilege of still having a close relationship with now four strong and healthy adults and the added blessing of eight grandmonsters, that I am very proud of.
I have been selling ranches and land for 9 years now what a joy it has been, I have strong communication skills learned from my years as a minister, I take pride in what I do so please give me a try.
